Charity Navigator, the nation’s largest and most utilized charity evaluator, awarded United Way of East Central Alabama a 4-star rating, the highest a charity can receive. With this rating, UWECA earned a perfect overall score of 100 for its financial health, accountability, and transparency. Less than one percent of the thousands of charities rated by Charity Navigator nationwide have earned perfect scores.
In addition, United Way of East Central Alabama has been ranked number 7 on Charity Navigator’s “Top 10 Charities Worth Watching.” UWECA works incredibly hard to ensure that charitable dollars received by its donors and corporate supporters are used wisely, efficiently, and are making a true impact on the communities we serve.
